Reflection #1
This is my first time taking an online class, and I must admit, it is a bittersweet feeling. On one hand, I'm unsure of what to expect. On the other, I'm genuinely excited about all the new things I will be learning along the way. It is also my first time creating a blog! As you can probably tell, I'm not much of a social media person, so this is definitely a new experience for me. Still, I'm finding it surprisingly enjoyable. There's something powerful about putting your thoughts into words and sharing them, it feels like a meaningful way to grow. So here I am, embarking on this new journey of blogging and online learning.
This week flew by! One of the key things I learned this week is the concept of computational thinking which is the idea of approaching problems in a logical way that allows us to use computers effectively to solve them. This idea really resonated with me. As someone pursuing a future in education, I see how important it is to use technology as a tool to empower students. I want to help students become problem-solvers, collaborators, and creators. That is the true power of technology; it can be a force for positive change when used with intention. Honestly, I used to believe that technology was our biggest enemy. But the more I learn about its role in education, the more my perspective shifts. I'm beginning to see technology not as something to fear but as something full of potential.
