Reflection #2
We're now in the fourth week of school, and things are definitely getting busier. Reading about Web 3.0 and how it has evolved from Web 1.0 to Web 2.0 really got me thinking, it reminded me of the movie iRobot. I know that might sound a bit funny, but it’s amazing (and a little scary) to see how quickly the internet is changing. It's no longer just on our computers but soon it will be everywhere! I want to stay hopeful that these changes will benefit society and lead to even more innovative ways for us to connect online.
One thing that really stood out to me from our readings is how our use of the internet has grown and will keep growing. What fascinated me most was learning that we are not just consuming content but we are actually creating it. That really hit home for me, especially as I write this blog post. By sharing my thoughts and experiences in this class, I’m becoming an active part of the online community. I will end with a quote from this week’s module that really resonated with me: “We’re all connected with other people who can put anything they want online that they want to share.” Right now, we’re part of that shared space, specifically the EDIT 4300 community. This is the true power of the internet: it gives us the ability to connect, share, and grow together on platforms that keep evolving.
